Abstract

This research is a follow-up study from previous research related to the optimization of the engravingprocess with the same object, mahogany wood processed with the G-Weike WK1212 CNC Router machineand3mmConicalbitusingTaguchimethod.Inthisresearch,theoptimizationmethodused is FullFactorial Design with multiresponse plots optimization, where the use of this method also refers to theresults ofprevious studies but its implementation is applied to the cutting process with a 3 mm End Millbit using a CNCRoutermachineandwoodmaterial,thesame one. The purpose of this study is 2, thefirstistocomparetheoptimalityvalueoftheimplementationFull Factorial Design method -multiresponse plots optimization with the results of the previous implementation of the Taguchi method.Second,knowingwhethertheoptimalresultsfromtheimplementation of the Full Factorial Designmethodwith multiresponse plots optimization for the engraving process using a 3 mm Conical bit canbethesame as in the cuttingprocess using a 3mm End Mill bit. The results of this study are known thattheoptimallevel settings from Full Factorial Design method with optimization of multi response plotsarespindlespeed7steps,motionspeed5stepsanddepth 44percut0.5mm.
