Abstract
Background: Poor management of tourist village assets remains the main obstacle to optimal village development. This activity aims to increase the knowledge, skills, and collectiveness of community groups or related institutions in optimizing the management of tourist village assets in Pilang Village. Method: This activity uses a qualitative method with an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which includes the preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation stages. Data collection uses observation, interviews, Forum Group Discussion (FGD), documentation, data analysis through condensation, and conclusion. Results: Community service activities are considered adequate and can increase awareness about the importance of managing village assets, as the community has started to make efforts and develop initial steps to establish a tourist village. Conclusion: This activity supports increasing community independence in efforts to create optimal tourist villages to improve social welfare and encourage the economic development of the Pilang Village community.
