Abstract
The parallel operation of three-phase inverters for motor drive has become an effective way to achieve modularity. However, in the parallel inverter system for motor, the circulating current is generated through a common dc link, which can be caused more by low output inductance. This current causes stress on the switches, degrades the current control performance, and increases the difficulty in controlling load distribution in parallel operation. In this study, an optimal vector finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) method is proposed to improve the current control performance through circulating current model of each phase current in the parallel inverter system.
