Abstract
A problem of optimal arrangement of points of observation on surfaces of cylindrical form is considered. An accurate solution of this problem for these systems of observations is obtained. The optimal ratio of a cylinder diameter to the length of its generatrix from the standpoint of the optimal design of the experiment is determined.
