Abstract

Abstract In this paper a new model is proposed to help the decision making process at the operation level of industrial supply chains. This allows the integration of different topological, operational and processing pre-conditions constraints in a single level formulation. The proposed model relies on the discretization of time horizon into intervals of equal duration and results from the linkage between the maximal State-Task Network and the Flowpaths representations adapted to the supply chain characteristics. Structural and operational characteristics are studied and a detailed operational plan both for the manufacturing sites as well as for the transport structures is obtained. The model applicability is shown through the solution of a case-study.
