Abstract
Late preterm antenatal corticosteroid (ACS) administration is standard of care since publication of Antenatal Betamethasone for Women at Risk for Late Preterm Delivery (ALPS) trial. Previous data suggests incomplete or nonoptimal steroid exposure is associated with decreased efficacy, but prediction of delivery timing remains a challenge. Our aim was to investigate if the obstetric indication for steroids is predictive of optimal steroid exposure.
