Abstract

This paper established a multi-objective optimization model of siting and sizing of inverter feedback device. The Pareto solution set was obtained by combining the hybrid AC / DC power flow calculation with the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II). The technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) based on entropy was adopted to select the optimal solution from Pareto. Cases based on a certain metro line in Guangzhou were studied to verified the effectiveness of the algorithm, which also indicated the optimization scheme can save 1.2 million yuan of investment cost and increase the system level energy saving rate by 2.28%.
