Abstract
Selection of the optimal gasification parameters of lignite on the basis of the information approach is considered. The optimization problem is broken down into hierarchical levels. This approach complements the optimal organization of the system in terms of complexity criteria (evolutionary synthesis). Two aspects to the problem may be distinguished here: the selection of optimal macro-level parameters determining the position of the process within the structure of the system; and the selection of optimal parameters of the process itself so as to correspond to the macro-level solution. In the present work, the selection of optimal parameters for gasification is analyzed. Optimization is based on the ratio of the cost of process organization to its thermodynamic efficiency.
