Abstract

In order to promote the accommodation of renewable energy and carbon emission reduction, an integrated energy system (IES) optimal operation strategy based on power to gas (P2G) and carbon capture system (CCS) is proposed. The system is equipped with wind turbine, photovoltaic unit, combined heat and power (CHP), gas boiler, natural gas source and electric refrigerator. Then, an optimal scheduling model of IES using P2G and carbon capture technology is established. The carbon trading mechanism, equipment constraints and energy balance constraints are also considered in this operation model. The accommodation capacity, carbon emission and operation costs of the system are analyzed and compared under different modes. Finally, the simulation results verify that the proposed model can effectively improve the wind power accommodation capacity, also reduce carbon emission and comprehensive economic operation costs.
