Abstract

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, the problem is arisen which is availability of the electrical power. The renewable energies such as photovoltaic (PV) and wind generator (WG) are introduced as a solution for this problem. In addition, the government moves forward the electricity system reform in Japan. However, renewable energies are variables of the generated power due to the weather condition. The key point in terms of contribution for electrical power problem and development electrical business for deregulation of electric utilities is to make efficient use of renewable energies. Thus, the proposed scheduling method takes into account the day-ahead market and real-time pricing (RP). RP gives incentive to the consumer in order to shift peak load and valley load, and contributes leveling the load demand by using sigmoid function. Therefore, the peak load and valley load shift are achieved. The day-ahead market is possible to trade the power between power systems, it is important to meet the demand supply in the whole power systems. The day-ahead market clearing uses fuzzy inference as bitting strategy. As a consequence, power systems achieve to make the efficient use of renewable energies, and reduce the operation cost by using day-ahead market and RP.
