Abstract

Sternoclavicular septic arthritis is uncommon. We present a case occurring after closed upper limb trauma and highlight the importance of clinical recognition and prompt computed tomography imaging. Appropriate, timely, antibiotic and surgical therapy is required to limit bony destruction and potential complications.
