Abstract

Energy management of a household connected to the grid, but with a local PV installation is studied here. For this a new formulation is proposed, that takes into account the PV generation, the grid energy cost, the priority of extensions and the requested level of user comfort. A multi-start random constructive heuristic algorithm is proposed to optimize the scheduling of a smart home supplied by a Photovoltaic- grid connected plant. The proposed approach is tested on a specific case study, in two different scenarios depending on the comfort value of the user. The obtained results show the efficiency of the proposed approach.
