Abstract
This document proposes a method for determining the optimal point of integration of PV Generated into the electricity grid. The Slime mould optimization algorithm ( SMOA) is applied to determine the best node in the case of one and two injection points. The problem has been modeled as an optimization problem where the objective is to minimize joule losses and the main constraint is to regulate the voltage at each point. The proposed method was implemented in MATLAB and applied in the nodes of the IEEE networks 33 and 69 and the north interconnected grid (NIG) of north Cameroon. The results allowed us to determine the optimal points of the NIG allowing us to inject with less losses. Comparison of the results obtained with other algorithms showed that the SMOA has the best reduction in power losses and a good improvement in the voltage profile
