Abstract

The intelligent composite motion control (ICMC), a methodology for intelligent robot motions, is introduced and outlined. The ICMC is then applied to an optimal handling problem of a flexible structure. It is shown that quite dexterous handling is achieved by learning and suboptimal handling can be realized without learning based upon experiential knowledge.
