Abstract

This paper mainly studied the optimal guaranteed cost control problem for networked control systems with time-varying delay. By considering the optimal guaranteed cost state feedback control law, the closed-loop NCS is described as a discrete uncertain time-delay control system. A sufficient condition for the existence of the guaranteed cost control law for the system is proved, and the problem of the design of the guaranteed cost control law for the NCS is solved by a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.
