Abstract

This article studies the sidelobe level (SLL) reduction optimization of linear antenna arrays (LAA) with specific radiation characteristics and circular antenna arrays (CAA) with isotropic radiation characteristics. In the optimization process, an optimization method (GWO-PSO) combining gray wolf optimization and particle swarm optimization will be used. Use GWO-PSO algorithm to obtain the best weight of LAA and the best weight and position of CAA. In the case of a fixed main lobe beam width, a beam pattern with optimal SLL reduction is provided. In addition, it can be seen from the results that the GWO-PSO algorithm has a better maximum SLL suppression effect on LAA and CAA.
