Abstract

In order to solve the problems of traditional 12/14 hybrid stator pole type bearingless switched reluctance motor (BSRM), such as small starting torque and large torque ripple, a BSRM based on stepped rotor structure was designed in this paper. Then, the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is studied and improved, and the simulated annealing particle swarm optimization (SAPSO) algorithm is proposed and its effectiveness is verified. In addition, the response surface method is used to replace the finite element calculation, and the mathematical model is combined with SAPSO algorithm to optimize the structural parameters of the motor. Finally, the basic characteristics, including inductance, torque, suspension force and coupling characteristics, of the original and optimized BSRM were analyzed and compared to verify the effectiveness of the proposed SAPSO algorithm.
