Abstract

In order to improve the damage power of linear multiple explosively formed penetrators, three rod-type damage element structures were designed, and the formation of different structures was studied through numerical simulation. The final rod-type damage element structure was optimized. Under explosive loading, a rod-type penetration body with an aspect ratio of 4.1 can be formed. Combined with the optimization design of the rod-type damage element, the warhead power experimental research was carried out. The results show that the resulting rod-type penetrating body has good formation, stable flight and high-efficiency damage ability to thick-walled targets.
