Abstract

Integrated energy distribution system (IEDS) can realize the cascade utilization of energy and the coordination and complementation of multiple energy sources. As the main preliminary work of the planning of integrated energy distribution system, the optimal configuration of equipment capacity can effectively solve the problem of lack of economic benefits, uneven energy utilization and the waste of equipment capacity. Firstly, the distribution network model, the heat network model and energy station model are established. Then, a mixed integer non-linear programming model for equipment capacity optimization of multi-area integrated energy distribution system is established taking into consideration distribution network, heating network and energy stations. Finally, two different scenarios are defined to analyze the impact of the use of heating network in an integrated energy distribution system. The simulation results demonstrate the benefits of the proposed model taking into consideration distribution network, heating network and energy stations in terms of the economy and security of integrated energy distribution system.
