Abstract

Production cross sections of multinucleon transfer reactions are systematically investigated in the framework of the improved DNS model combined with statistical GEMINI++ model. The calculated isotone distribution of final products in 20 reaction systems at collision energies above the Coulomb barrier are roughly in agreement with experimental data for a wide range of transfers, respectively, especially in the distribution trend. One founds that the combinations of actinide projectiles or larger neutron excess radioactive projectiles and 208Pb or 198Pt targets at energies near the Coulomb barrier can be considered for future experiments on the production of heavy neutron-rich nuclei.
