Abstract
Abstract Optimal catalyst activity distribution for effectiveness factor, productivity and selectivity maximization in nonisothermal pellets has been determined for generalized reacting systems with arbitrary kinetics. It has been shown that optimal catalyst distribution is a Diracδ(x) function in all cases.
