Abstract

For finite-dimensional systems optimal approximate doubles and nonlocality powers of local observables are introduced to describe the nonlocality of bipartite quantum states. Then nonlocal properties of Werner states of two qubits are discussed. A geometrical picture of the CHSH inequality is given and it is found that there is still a small non-vanishing nonlocal correlation for Werner states satisfying the CHSH inequality.
