Abstract

For providing primary frequency regulation capability for high-permeability wind power grids, this paper considers the optimal allocation of the energy storage capacity considering wind storage joint frequency regulation. This article first proposes the coordinated distribution strategy of wind turbine and energy storage frequency adjustment power and the reserve method of fans in variable wind speed zones; then takes the energy storage configuration cost, operationm to meet the opportunity constraints of frequency adjustment power and the normal state of charge of energy storage, a joint optimization model of wind and storage was established; the genetic algorithm was used to solve the problem, and simulation was performed using Simulink. The simulation results show the model optimizes the cost of energy storage configuration, reduces the cost of wind turbine abandonment, and improves the overall economics of wind farm frequency regulation.
