Abstract
In CD2Cl2 solution the chloro derivatives 1 and their iodo analogues 2 epimerize with respect to the metal center with half-lives of 9 min at 11 °C and 15 min at −4 °C, respectively. This is in contrast to published papers in which configurational stability at the ruthenium atom had been reported.
