Abstract

We describe magnetooptical studies of selectively doped GaAs/GaAlAs multi-quantum-well structures aiming at the study of negative-donor centers (D − centers) in quantum wells. We emphasize how high magnetic fields have been helpful to elucidate the energy spectrum of these centers and to gain valuable information about the electron-phonon coupling for a two-electron system.
