Abstract

Spectroscopic techniques to analyze the structure of Rock’s minerals were getting importance roles to understanding the chemical and physical properties of material. In the current work Infrared and Ultraviolet Spectroscopic techniques were employed by the authors to study the some Rock’s minerals such as Calcite, China clay, Talk and Whiting. The chemical bonding information carried out by Fourier transform IR absorption spectroscopy and discussed result in the concern section. FTIR technique yield information about the functional groups and fingerprint region. UV–VIS absorption spectroscopy employed to conclude the Optical band-gap of all the Rock-minerals. The energy dependent absorption coefficient was calculated by the Tauc method and evaluated band gap of all the samples. The result of band gap revealed that the all samples found insulator at particular temperature. All the data were compared with the other scientific available data and found incorporate in meticulous manner.
