Abstract

Objective:The generalized Schrödinger–Hirota equation of the fourth order is considered using the traveling wave solutions. Method:The compatibility of the overdetermined system of equations is analyzed. The Painleé test is applied to determine the integrability property of the mathematical model. The simplest equation method is used for finding periodic and solitary wave solutions. Results:Optical solitons of the generalized Schrödinger–Hirota equation of the fourth order are found.
