Optical solitons and other solutions to the dual-mode nonlinear Schrödinger equation with Kerr law and dual power law nonlinearities

Abstract

In this article, we apply four insightful integration algorithms, namely, the tanh-coth method, the unified Riccati equation method, the modified simple equation method and the new extended auxiliary equation method for constructing new optical soliton solutions and other solutions to the dual-mode nonlinear Schrödinger equation with Kerr law and dual power law nonlinearities related to the optics. Many families of Jacobi elliptic solutions, dark, bright, singular soliton solutions and other solutions have been found.
