Abstract

In this paper, amorphous semiconducting multilayers are compared with crystalline superlattices and the effects of the introduction of disorder to amorphous multilayers, in particular an anomalous peak in the reflectance spectrum is discussed. These amorphous random multilayers are also compared with regular amorphous multilayers.
