Abstract
We report the results of an optical pumping study performed at 1.7 K on four Mn-doped GaAs epilayers grown by MBE. All the luminescence lines exhibit optical pumping effects. It was found that in the studied doping range (10 16 - 3 × 10 17 cm −3) the electron lifetime τ decreases with increasing doping level.
