Abstract
Granular BiSrCaCuO superconducting films grown by a pulsed laser ablation technique were submitted (i) to electrical current pulses, and (ii) to nanosecond pulses from an argon-ion laser. In the current-induced resistive regime, the response is found to be non-thermal, and dominated by relaxation times shorter than 1 nsec.
