Abstract

Photorefractive Bi12TiO20 crystals doped with Cu and Ag were grown by Czochralski method. The dopands (Cu, Ag) were introduced into the melt in the form of oxides. Transmission and reflection spectra were made in the visible range and absorption coefficients were determined. The optical rotatory power was measured in the spectral range ( 480-1180 nm) and was established, that doping with Ag and Cu decrease optical activity in comparison with undoped Bi12TiO20.
