Abstract
A perfluorosulfonic membrane was modified with Co2+ cations. A comparative study of the thermal stabilities of the starting (hydrogen) and cobalt(II)-containing forms of the membrane was carried out. Optical electronic spectroscopy was used to characterize color transformations accompanying sorption-desorption of water by the modified membrane.
