Abstract

We build a new system to generate magnetic flux quanta in a superconductive thin film loop under the control of femtosecond laser pulse numbers, and examine the pulse-number dependence of the magnetic flux generation. The pulses are controlled by an Acousto-Optic Modulator (AOM) driven by an external pulse generator. The results indicate that the magnetic flux can be generated in the superconductive loop by a single shot fs laser pulse operation.
