Abstract

The work presents the fabrication of Au/Pd core shells nanorod arrays utilizing highly ordered porous alumina template and DC electrodeposition. Reflection spectra of the Au/Pd core shells nanorod arrays show features associated with collective plasmonic resonances of the arrays. Different concentrations of H2 cause the changes in plasmonic-related optical response. The shift of the resonance peaks in reflection spectra can be related to different concentrations of H2.
