Abstract
We have developed two kinds of optical experiments: colour mixture and fluorescence, usingmini-torches with light emitting diodes (LEDs) that emit three primary colours.Since the tools used in the experiments are simple and inexpensive, students caneasily retry and develop the experiments by themselves. As well as giving anintroduction to basic optics, the developed experiments are expected to helpstudents to understand how the science they learn in school is used in their dailylives.
