Abstract

One of the theoretical proposals to generate macroscopic squeezed light is the resonance fluorescence from N two-level atoms distributed at regular positions.1 This represents a macroscopic light source producing squeezed coherent states and squeezed vacuum states simultaneously. We present here the squeezed light produced in optical double resonance from N identical three-level atoms.
