Abstract
The papers in the 15 May 1986 issue feature optical computing and include some of those given at the Lake Tahoe Topical Meeting an Optical Computing in Mar. 1985. They essentially focus on digital optical computers. A subsequent issue will contain papers on analog optical systems and the processing of binary encoded optical data.
