Abstract

I demonstrate the fiber-type OCT system having the tip of sample arm with multi-fiber array and OCT imaging of the interproximal contact area of porcine molars. The sample arm of the OCT consists of 48 optical paths and the output port is changed by a 1 × 48 switch. The difference between the minimum and maximum 48 optical path lengths in the sample arm was suppressed to less than 1.0 mm. The interproximal contact areas are clearly represented in the OCT images.
