Abstract

Abstract Study of doped nanoparticles draws more attention by many researchers due to its excellent properties. In this investigation, optical performance is carried out of tungsten doped CuO nanoparticles produced through Micro-EDM process. Pure and tungsten doped CuO nano powders (5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 % of W) have been produced by varying frequency of micro-EDM. The produced tungsten doped CuO nanoparticles were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy. The size of nanoparticles is depicted by UV-Vis spectroscopy which indicate smaller size nanoparticles are fabricated at 30V.
