Abstract

Abstract We present the results of an optical multiplier system which uses a Karnaugh Map-like scheme to represent bytes on a 162 LED array as the input to a serial byte correlator. A portion of a 2562 FLC spatial light modulator is used to display the dynamic Karnaugh Map mask which discriminates between different byte values. We show initial results demonstrating a correlation between an input signal and a target value.
