Abstract
We report the observation of intrinsic dynamic optical bistability in bulk GeSe 2 semiconductor glass. The transmitted intensity is studied as a function of the incident intensity at 0.6328 μm. At high input intensities a nonlinear dependence of the transmitted signal is observed. Moreover the experimental results suggest non linear and self diffraction effects in the material.
