Abstract
A review of the achievements and trends in the area of adhesives, sealants, compounds, and optical coatings is presented in relation to the breakthrough in optical instrument making, optoelectronics, laser optics and other modern fields on applications. The most promising directions of development in the production of optical adhesives for wide-ranging technological and operational requirements for adhesives and optical items are discussed as well.
