Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has generated the consolidation of eHealth in the world and it is expected that it will remain even after the pandemic ceases. This will especially be true for chronic patients, who have greater needs for remote health services. This perspective paper presents the various regulatory documents that support the provision of telemedicine in Peru. The time and money savings achieved through eHealth services are presented. However, Peru is a country with multiple rural areas and limited internet connectivity.
