Abstract

The American Museum of Natural History in New York City has announced mineral sciences fellowships for 1989 for predoctoral student study and postdoctoral research. Student awards are for programs at Columbia University and the university's Lamont‐Doherty Geological Observatory and for museum internships. Postdoctoral awards are for 3 months to 2 years. Research in the Department of Mineral Sciences is in mineralogy, petrology, meteoritics, and economic geology.
