Abstract
A National Research Council study committee is seeking the views of individuals, groups, and organizations on the social and economic problems arising from the selection of sites for nuclear dumps.The Committee on Radioactive Waste Management of the Commission on Natural Resources, in response to a request from the Department of Energy, is conducting a study of issues related to nuclear waste and, in particular, of means by which consideration of such issues can be made part of the process of selecting a site for disposal.
