Abstract

This article intends to analyze the epistemic approaches in three political formation workshops, aimed at grassroots militants, in popular movements of Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area, Argentina. A general qualitative methodological strategy was carried out, based on a multiple-case study, which implied the triangulation of interviews, observation and document analysis. In the dialogue between the field work and bibliographical precedents, five epistemic approaches were identified within the workshops, understood as pedagogical and epistemic apparatus: impartation of academic knowledge, problematization and deconstruction of common sense wisdoms; recall, pooling and appreciation of popular wisdoms; systematization of knowledge and wisdoms; and co-production of knowledge. The results obtained give an account of the differential contribution that each of the mentioned epistemic approaches make in order to affirm and consolidate subjective changeover from the mere reception to the recognition of knowledge carrying, and from the latter to the co-production.
