Abstract

AbstractIn this paper we investigate the properties of the operator Bezoutiant. We omit the assumption that the operator Bezoutiant is normally solvable. We investigate the following problems: describing the conditions under which two entire functions have no common zeroes, extending the Schur‐Cohn theorem to new classes of entire functions. We apply the general results to the theory of Bessel and confluent hypergeometric functions.
