Abstract
This study shows how “Satellite Storage Locations” (SSLs) can be accessed based on in-field hauling cost to a SSL and load/hauling from a SSL to a biorefinery. The system envisioned calls for farmers to use in-field hauling equipment to deliver round bales of switchgrass to the SSL and year-round hauling from a SSL to a biorefinery with commercial delivery.
