Abstract

An analysis is made of an adaptive optical phase-conjugation system comprising a Hartmann wavefront sensor, a wavefront corrector (in the form of a continuous adaptive mirror with a 'square-nesting' distribution of drives), and an automatic control device. The efficiency of the operational algorithms of this system is investigated as a function of the object brightness, parameters of the wavefront sensor and of the adaptive mirror and wavefront distortions.
